In the next session of the MUSIVUS project, which will take place on March 3, we will have the second session of the new segment entitled MUSIVUS in memoriam. This in memoriam segment will be about Composer Jorge Peixinho, with the guests of this session being Composer Isabel Soveral, Composer Evgueni Zoudilkine, Cellist Jorge Machado and Flautist João Pereira Coutinho and will take place at the Auditorium Maestro Frederico de Freitas, at the Portuguese Society of Authors , Av. The second Seminar of the second cycle of the IpC Project will take place on the 30th of November, with the guidance of violist Jorge Alves.
November 12th, 2019
In the third session of the MUSIVUS project, which will take place on the 12th of November, we start a new segment entitled MUSIVUS in memoriam. The MUSIVUS Project maintains its format where, in an informal context, the work of a composer will be presented in a conversation open to the public. However, this segment focuses on a late 20th / 21st century composer, with a conversation between a guest composer and a performer who have directly contacted the composer in focus. The first segment in memoriam will be about Composer Constança Capdeville, with the guests of this session being Composer António de Sousa Dias, Double Bassist Pedro Wallenstein and Singer Luís Madureira. The session will take place in the Maestro Frederico de Freitas Auditorium, at the Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores, at Av. Duque de Loulé, 31, in Lisbon, at 9pm.
